Summer means more frequent nose bleeds, especially for children!
They can be benign as expected due to the weather, but if prolonged and frequent, suggest to seek an ENT consult to make sure everything's fine!
Nosebleeds Are More Frequent in Summer
Dry heat can irritate the nasal lining.
If a nosebleed occurs:Pinch the soft part of the nose and lean forward for 10–15 minutes.
Seek care if bleeding is prolonged or frequent.
