Some of you know my daughter Louie and I’m sharing with you her CKD to KT and now a Magna Cum Laude graduate 🎓
This is the reason why hindi na sya nakapag vlog , nag focus sa school.
Little back story, she was diagnosed at the age of 15 last 2017 and been on dialysis from 2018-2022, we had 3 failed living donor work ups (ako yung una but unfortunately I was diagnosed with Lupus during our work up and that was 2020 before pandemic) Then we enlisted in HOPE last August 2022 and thank God na transplant (cadaveric donor) sya last October 2022 .When she got diagnosed she was grade 9 at isa lang pakiusap nya “Mamcy wag moko patitigilin mag aral ha “ after ng mga hindi mabilang na procedure, opera, confinement, ER , tusok and dialysis session, she successfully graduated college, 100% full scholar , consistent dean’s lister, Excellence in Leadership Awarde and Magna Cum Laude.
I know hindi lahat ng pinag dadaanan ay pare pareho madami beses din kami pinang hinaan ng loob but indeed nothing is impossible with God. Sa mga ibang nkakakilala sa amin at nasundan ang aming journey hindi naging madali pero walang sukuan 💪
We are very grateful sa lahat ng taong ng support sa amin specially to her napaka bait at galing na Pedia Nephro Dra. Marbella and Adult Nephro Dra. Arakama , Fellows and Sec. Ate Juvy , sa lahat ng mga Doctors nya from pedia to adult doctors (Nuero, OB, Surgeon, Vascular, Endo, Cardio , Ophtha, Pulmo, and mga Anes) at sa lahat ng mababait na Nurses and HD nurses , tech , HOPE and staff ng NKTI and sa lahat ng kapwa patient we are forever grateful sa inyong lahat . Special thanks to Tana Mendoza - Juan , ikaw ang pinaka unang nag help sa amin napakalaking part mo sa journey namen kaya si Lord na bahala mag balik lahat ng blessings sayo , sa lahat ng mga kapwa patient na tinutulungan mo 🙏🏻
Walang sukuan mga stone mates and warriors lalo na sa mga kagayang kung solo parent / PWD mom lahat gagawin para sa anak , keep the faith and stay strong bibigay ni Lord lahat ng prayers naten🙏🏻
Forever grateful to our angelic cadaveric donor and to his family. Because of your selfless gift, Louie has been given a second chance at life.
