Nakikiisa ang Pamahalaang Bayan ng Masinloc sa pagdiriwang ng National Lung Month ngayong Agosto na may temang,

“Baga Ko, Alagaan Ko: Breathe Freely, Live Healthy.”

Patuloy nating isulong ang pangangalaga sa kalusugan ng ating mga baga sa pamamagitan pag-iwas sa paninigarilyo, at pagpapanatili ng malinis at ligtas na kapaligiran para sa lahat.

Muscular Dystrophy is a condition that affects muscle strength and movement. Through a personalized rehabilitation program, physical therapy helps support mobility, flexibility, posture, and independence while promoting participation in daily activities.

Exercise Tips for Individuals with Muscular Dystrophy:
✔️ Perform gentle range-of-motion (ROM) exercises daily to help keep joints flexible.
✔️ Do light stretching to reduce muscle tightness and maintain flexibility.
✔️ Practice breathing exercises to support lung function and endurance.
✔️ Engage in low-impact activities, as recommended by your physical therapist.
✔️ Take frequent rest breaks and avoid overexertion—listen to your body.
✔️ Always perform exercises under the guidance of your physical therapist and follow your individualized home exercise program.

Ang pagdiriwang na ito ay nagbibigay-diin sa karapatan, pantay na oportunidad, at aksesibilidad para sa lahat ng Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).

Layunin nitong palakasin ang kamalayan ng bawat isa na ang bawat PWD ay may kakayahan, dignidad, at mahalagang papel sa ating lipunan.
