BNAP Formulation Workshop with the Barangay Nutrition Committees (BNCs) and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS)

A productive three-day workshop focused on strengthening the capacity of our Barangay Nutrition Committees (BNCs) and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) in planning and developing effective, responsive, and sustainable nutrition programs and activities for their communities.

Through teamwork, meaningful discussions, and hands-on workshop activities, our BNCs and BNS worked together to formulate practical and community-responsive Barangay Nutrition Action Plans (BNAPs) that address the nutrition needs of their respective barangays.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Ella Celestina D. Garcia-Yulo, to our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Lyle Love Louise P. Ladera, our dedicated facilitators, the MNC members, BNCs, BNS, and all participants for their valuable support, active participation, and commitment to improving the nutrition and well-being of our communities.

YOUTH SYMPOSIUM | SAFEGUARDING THE YOUTH

A meaningful Youth Symposium on Substance Abuse, Teenage Pregnancy, and HIV/AIDS was successfully conducted at Antonio Montilla Esteban National High School.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the initiators of this important activity, headed by Mr. Jacob Ortiz, together with Mr. Joshua Juanites, Guidance Counselor, for their commitment to educating and empowering the youth.

We sincerely thank our resource speakers—Ma’am Darryl May Mallillin, RM, Ma’am Merylgene Francis Espinosa, RN, MN, and Mr. Sundae Domingo, RN—for sharing their valuable knowledge and insights.

We also extend our gratitude to the school administration, teachers, staff, and all the students and youth participants for their support, active participation, and attentive listening.

Together, let us continue to educate, empower, and safeguard our youth toward a healthier, safer, and brighter future. 💙

As we officially conclude our Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) Campaign, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to everyone who contributed their time, effort, commitment, and support toward making this campaign a success.

Our sincerest thanks to Hon. Mayor Ella Celestina D. Garcia-Yulo for your unwavering support, leadership, and commitment to protecting the health and well-being of our children; to Hon. Vice Mayor Pimpoy Yulo for your continued encouragement and support; and to Hon. Dowen Michael Ogatis, SB Committee Chairperson on Health, for your valuable support and advocacy for our immunization program.

We are equally grateful to all Barangay Officials for helping mobilize and encourage families in your communities, and to our dedicated Vaccination Teams composed of PCF staff and DOH Human Resources for Health (HRH) who worked tirelessly in reaching our target children. Your dedication, patience, teamwork, and willingness to go beyond your regular duties truly made a difference.

A special thank you to our Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Municipal Health Workers (MHWs) for assisting in community mobilization, identifying children, providing information to parents and guardians, and supporting our vaccination teams on the ground.

We also extend our deepest appreciation to the DOH Team and Provincial Health Office (PHO) Team for your technical guidance, monitoring, supervision, and continuous support throughout the campaign. Your partnership strengthened our efforts and helped ensure that the activity was implemented safely and effectively.

Most importantly, we thank all the parents and guardians who trusted our health workers and allowed their children to receive the MR vaccine and Vitamin A supplementation. Your cooperation and support are essential in protecting our children and preventing the spread of measles and rubella in our community.

The success of this campaign is a result of teamwork, unity, dedication, and a shared commitment to the health of our children. Every child reached, every family educated, and every vaccination given represents a collective achievement.

A heartfelt thank you to the Department of Health (DOH) and Provincial Health Office (PHO) for the successful monitoring and continued support of our Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA).

Your guidance, dedication, and commitment help us ensure that our vaccination activities are carried out safely, effectively, and for the protection of our children. 💚

Sa tanan nga ginikanan kag guardians, ga hangyo gid kami sang inyo padayon nga suporta kag kooperasyon.

Buligi ninyo kami nga protektahan ang aton mga kabataan pamaagi sa pag tugot sa amon nga makabaton Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccine ang mga eligible ninyo nga mga kabataan. Ang inyo desisyon subong makabulig gid protekta indi lamang sa inyo mga kabataan kundi pati sa bilog ta nga kumunidad sa measles (tigdas) kag rubella (makayha).

On August 12, 2026, the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) was officially launched at Barangay 6, Poblacion, marking another important step in our continued commitment to protecting children and strengthening immunization efforts in the community.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Punong Barangay Hon. Romeo Vinson and the Barangay Council, BHWs and BNS for their warm support, cooperation, and active participation in making the launch a success.

Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to our Head Nurse, Ma’am Emee Horegue, RN, to our Doctor to the Barrio (DTTB), Dra.
