I saw this post in one of the FB groups. So i think i need to explain how things work.
I understand po yung concern about follow-up fees, pero letโs also be fair to the medical side.
Ang follow-up check-up po ay hindi lang โsilip kung gumaling ka.โ
It involves reassessment, clinical judgment, and decision-makingโkung effective ba ang gamot, may kailangan bang baguhin, may komplikasyon ba, o may ibang diagnosis na dapat i-consider.
Every visit, whether first or follow-up, still uses:
โข training and expertise ng doctor (years of study and practice)
โข clinic time and scheduling , rent, gas papuntanh clinic para lang matignan ka
โข medical responsibility (legal and ethical)
โข sometimes additional procedures or reassessment tools
Hindi po siya simpleng โtingin lang.โ
Or tanungin si Mr. Google. Or wag na mag ff up diba? Tingin lang naman eh ๐
Letโs be real
That said, iba-iba po ang practiceโmay doctors na nagbibigay ng free follow-up within a certain period, may discounted, at may regular feeโdepende sa clinic policy.
Bottom line:
And just like any professional service, it has value.
