Sometimes it doesn’t feel like a health problem, it just feels like daily life is getting harder.
Struggling to carry groceries or get up from a chair can be linked to sarcopenia, a gradual loss of muscle function and strength. It’s not only about getting older, but can be influenced by how active you are, what you eat, and certain health conditions. Over time, this can make everyday activities more difficult.
Early awareness matters. Medical nutrition can play an important role in supporting
people at risk of malnutrition and muscle mass loss, as part of a broader approach to care.
If this sounds familiar, it may be worth discussing it with a healthcare professional.
