Asian Hospital and Medical Center is a tertiary hospital accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI), the world’s most prestigious accrediting body for health care organizations. Asian Hospital is a part of the Metro Pacific Hospital Group, a group of hospitals managed by the Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC), the local unit of the First Pacific Group headed by Manuel V. The

hospital stands on a 17,258-square meter campus, carefully planned and specially designed to provide a healing environment, care and comfort, and ensure the safety of our patients, guests and staff. We have 1,000 expert doctors from different specialties who have been trained in top institutions worldwide. Asian Hospital also has over 1,000 highly skilled employees and staff to provide high quality and compassionate patient care. As part of the 24th Anniversary Week celebration, Nurses Week honors the heart, dedication, and compassion of our nurses—who inspire healing, deliver excellence, and make every life matter.

The event opened with welcome remarks from Ms. Leslie Batan, MAN, RN, Department Head, Nursing Quality, Professional Practice and Development followed by an inspiring message from Chief Medical Officer Dr. Carmen Nievera, and closing remarks from Ms. Marissa Nero, MAN, RN Unit Head, Nursing Staff Engagement.

The celebration featured interactive games for nurses and a Fun Fair at the Main Lobby, adding fun and camaraderie to the occasion. More activities are also lined up for the rest of the week in continued recognition of our nursing community.

This week, we honor the resilience, compassion, and unwavering commitment of our nurses—true champions of healing.
