Our School-Based Immunization activities continued across different schools in Naawan! 🏫💙

With so much information about vaccines circulating online, we are grateful to the parents and guardians who continue to ask questions, seek reliable information, and make informed decisions for their children. 🤝

Daghang salamat sa atong parents, learners, teachers, DepEd, LGU Naawan, ug atong mga health workers for your continued cooperation and support in making every immunization activity possible. 💙

Our vaccinated learners were monitored after immunization, and no adverse events were observed during the post-vaccination monitoring periods. 🙏

Every child protected is a step toward a healthier community. We will continue to provide accurate information, accessible immunization services, and support to our schools and families because protecting our children is a shared responsibility. 💉🛡️

📢 SCHOOL-BASED IMMUNIZATION | PARENTS’ ORIENTATION | September 9,2026 💉🏫

The RHU Naawan, in collaboration with DepEd Naawan District and the Local Government Unit of Naawan, conducted a simultaneous Parents’ Orientation on School-Based Immunization (SBI).

The orientation provided parents with clear information and addressed common concerns regarding vaccine safety, possible side effects, eligibility, and the importance of vaccination. Parents were also given the opportunity to ask questions and clarify their worries before their children receive the recommended vaccines.

💉 Grade 1 & Grade 7 – Measles-Rubella (MR) and Tetanus-Diphtheria (Td)
🎀 Grade 4 & 5 female learners, ages 9–14 years old – HPV vaccine

We believe that informed parents make confident decisions. Through strong collaboration and open communication, we can work together to protect our children and our community from vaccine-preventable diseases.

Karon nga semana nagpahigayon ang RHU Naawan, uban sa DOH-HRH personnel, Naawan District Nurse, Rural Health Employees, ug Barangay Councils sa respective barangays, naghiusa sa pagpahigayon og Search and Destroy Activity sa mga barangay ug school premises dinhi sa atong munisipyo.

🔎 Gipangita, gilimpyohan, ug gilaglag ang mga posibleng breeding sites sa lamok sama sa stagnant water, open containers, ug mga butang nga mahimong pamugaran sa lamok.

💚 Prevention starts with us!
Kanunay nga pangitaa, limpyohi, tabuni, ug wagtanga ang mga lugar nga mahimong pamugaran sa lamok aron mapanalipdan ang atong mga pamilya ug komunidad.

🤝 Dengue prevention is everyone’s responsibility!

Bisan pa og anaa pa sa ubos nga lebel ang atong mga kaso, mas maayo nga molihok ta daan kaysa maghulat nga modaghan pa kini. Ang sayo nga pagpangita ug pagwagtang sa mga breeding sites usa ka importanteng lakang aron mapugngan ang pagkaylap sa dengue.

👉 RHU Naawan, in partnership with the Department of Health (DOH), Provincial Health Office of Misamis Oriental, and the SK and Youth Council of Naawan, proudly joins the celebration of People-Centered Health Care this June 2026.

With the theme:
“No Smoking Month: Wag magpaluko sa v**e at sigarilyo,”
we continue to strengthen awareness on the harmful effects of smoking and va**ng, especially among the youth.

In line with this, a special activity promoting a smoke-free and healthier lifestyle will be conducted and concluded on June 11, 2026 at Brgy. Poblacion Covered Court.

Together, let us empower our community to make informed and healthier choices for ourselves and our families. Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang isang ligtas at smoke-free na Naawan!

Malampuson nga nahitabo ang atong Buntis Congress niadtong May 22, 2026 sa MSU Naawan TSAC, nga gitambongan sa 100 ka buntis uban ang ilang significant others (partner, bana, or pamilya) ug 20 ka lactating mothers. 🤍

Kini nga kalihokan gitumong aron mapalambo ang kahibalo sa maternal health, pag-atiman sa inahan ug bata, ug pagdasig sa suporta sa pamilya ug komunidad

📌 Highlights sa Activity:
• 🩺 FREE Laboratory Services – Random Blood Sugar (RBS), Blood Typing, ug HIV Testing
• 😁 Oral Hygiene Check-up – para sa mas maayong dental health sa atong mga inahan
• 🍼 Milk Letting Activity – pinangulohan sa mga personnel gikan sa Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC)
• 🤝 Partnership Strengthening – Pagpirma sa MOU & MOA tali sa MSU Naawan ug RHU Naawan alang sa umaabot nga community health engagements
• 🎁 1st Buntis Congress Donation Drive – malampuson nga natuman ug nakahatag og dugang suporta sa atong mga inahan
