The Provincial Nutrition Council (PNC) of Davao de Oro successfully conducted its 3rd Quarterly Meeting on August 13, 2026, at DโFortees Nature Park and Inland Resort, Montevista, Davao de Oro.
The Council discussed significant nutrition programs, accomplishments, and initiatives, including:

PNC Resolution requesting rice augmentation from the PSWDO for nutrition and feeding interventions

๐ข๐ป๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ต๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด was the presentation of the ๐ก๐๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐, entitled โAssessment of Nutrition and Development of Appropriate Food Product Intervention among Children in Flood-Prone and Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas in Davao de Oro, Philippines.โ
The Council was honored to welcome ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ณ. ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ผ ๐. ๐๐น๐๐ถ๐ผ๐น๐ฎ ๐๐ฉ, ๐ฃ๐ต๐, Project Leader, Professor of Applied Economics at the School of Management, University of the Philippines Mindanao, and UP Scientist. His presentation provided valuable research-based insights that can help guide the development of appropriate food and nutrition interventions for children living in vulnerable communities across the province.
