Today, the Senior High School Community of Ateneo de Naga University gathered at the University Gymnasium for the 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 held on 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to 𝐃𝐫. 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐓. 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐬 for sharing her expertise and empowering our students with valuable knowledge on kidney health, prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices. Your insights truly inspired us to take better care of our kidneys and overall well-being.

ALAMIN ang dapat gawin Bago, Habang at Matapos ang isang bagyo o baha

Bago bumagyo o bumaha
-I-check ang mga parte ng bahay. Ayusin
ang mga sirang bahagi
-Ibaba ang mga babasaging gamit sa sahig
-Maghanda ng Emergency Go Bag o E-Balde
-Makinig sa radyo o TV para sa mga balita tungkol sa bagyo
-Alamin ang mga emergency numbers na maaaring tawagan
-Alamin kung saan ang evacuation center sa inyong lugar

Habang Bumabagyo o Bumabaha
-Makinig sa radyo o TV ukol sa balita tungkol sa bagyo
-Huwag hayaan ang mga bata na maglaro sa ulan
-Ihanda ang mga pagkain upang hindi ito masira
-Uminom lamang ng malinis na tubig. Kung hindi sigurado, pakuluan ito hanggang dalawang minuto
-Huwag buksan ang mga kagamitang nabaha tulad ng gas o electrical appliances
-Kung hindi kinakailangan, huwag lumabas ng bahay
-Mag ingat sa mga lumilipad na bagay
-Huwag pumunta sa tabing-ilog o dagat, pati sa mga lugar na maaaring mag- landslide
-Tumawag o humingi ng tulong kung nasugatan
-Iwasan ang mga lugar na may baha. Maaari itong makakuryente o magdulot ng sakit.
-Mag evacuate kung kinakailangan. Sundin ang protocol ng inyong barangay.

Pagkatapos bumagyo o bumaha
-Magsuot ng protective equipment tulad ng gloves at bota. Suriing mabuti ang inyong bahay bago bumalik dito
-Mag ingat sa mga hayop na maaaring nakapasok sa loob ng inyong bahay.
-Ireport agad kung mayroong sirang electrical cable o linya ng telepono
-Huwag buksan ang main power switch o magsaksak ng electrical appliances. Tumawag muna sa isang electrician.
-Suriin ang mga pagkain at itapon ang mga nasira dahil sa baha.

Maging mapagmatyag at laging handa sa sakuna.

Our students are diving into another exciting chapter of their China Cultural Exchange Trip as they explore Jinjiang, a city where heritage, innovation, and community spirit come together beautifully.

📍 First stop: Jinjiang Experience Pavilion — an interactive space showcasing the city's impressive development, people-centered progress, and deep cultural pride. A powerful lesson in how tradition and modernity can thrive side by side.

👟 At the Anta 982 Centre, students got an up-close look at China’s global footprint in sportswear and innovation. It’s not just about sneakers—it’s about vision, design thinking, and the future of global entrepreneurship.

🏮 Walking through the traditional neighborhood of Wudian City, students experienced the charm of preserved architecture, folk culture, and centuries-old stories woven into every alley. It’s a living classroom—rich in history, full of heart.

Through every step, our learners are discovering that education extends far beyond four walls. These cultural experiences shape their worldview, sharpen their insights, and remind them what it means to be a globally aware, culturally grounded Atenean. 💙🌍

The exhibits showcased ancient crafts, traditional customs, and centuries-old maritime artifacts. These experiences provided students with a broader understanding of how culture, trade, and history intersect, complementing their previous classroom learning with real-world insights.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗞𝗮𝗶𝘆𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 ⛩️, one of the most significant Buddhist temples in Fujian Province. With its majestic architecture and centuries-old heritage, the temple offered a serene yet profound glimpse into the spiritual and architectural traditions of the region. For many students, this visit deepened their appreciation of Chinese religious practices and the temple's role in the lives of local communities.

𝗜𝗻 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 🌿, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝘂𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗫𝘂𝗰𝘂𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸. This final stop served not just as a culinary treat, but also as an opportunity to observe everyday life and local commerce in Quanzhou.
