Inaprubahan na sa huling pagbasa sa Senado ang SMART KIDS Act na naglalayong ipagbawal ang pagkakaroon ng social media accounts ng mga batang wala pang 18 taong gulang.

Ayon kay Senate President Win Gatchalian, co-author at co-sponsor ng panukala, makatutulong ito para mas mabantayan at maprotektahan ang kabataang Pilipino.
