🀰 Prenatal counseling for pregnant women
πŸ‘Ά Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) counseling to promote proper feeding practices during emergencies
πŸͺ Distribution of lactation cookies for breastfeeding and lactating mothers
🍱 Distribution of ready-to-eat food packs for children
🩺 Health consultation and wellness assessment to ensure the general health condition of evacuees

Your family's health and safety remain a priority during severe weather. Even during typhoons, proper nutrition and food safety can help keep everyone healthy and prevent illness.
β€’ Drink only safe and clean water. Boil water if its safety is uncertain.
β€’ Choose nutritious, ready-to-eat, and non-perishable foods such as canned fish, beans, peanut butter, oats, dried fruits, and powdered milk.
β€’ Wash your hands before preparing and eating food.
β€’ Cook food thoroughly and consume it while still hot.
β€’ Discard spoiled or contaminated food to avoid foodborne diseases.
β€’ Continue breastfeeding infants, as breast milk remains the safest and best source of nutrition during emergencies.
β€’ Give special attention to young children, pregnant women, older persons, and individuals with health conditions to ensure they receive adequate nutrition and hydration.
Together, let us stay prepared, nourished, and resilient during this typhoon season.
Good nutrition today means a stronger and healthier community tomorrow.

The Municipal Health Office of Naic, through its Nutrition Program, successfully conducted a Health Education Session for the parents and guardians of Day Care students of Parkstone Calubcob ECCD Facility on August 4, 2026.

The session focused on promoting proper child nutrition and preventive health through discussions on the importance of:
βœ… Deworming in protecting children from intestinal parasites and supporting healthy growth;
βœ… Vitamin A Supplementation to boost immunity, improve vision, and promote overall development;
βœ… Micronutrient Powder (MNP) as a means of preventing vitamin and mineral deficiencies; and
βœ… Pinggang Pinoy, emphasizing a balanced and nutritious diet to help children grow healthy and strong.

This activity aims to empower parents and guardians with the knowledge and practical guidance needed to make informed decisions about their children's health and nutrition. Through continued health education and community partnership, we can ensure that every child receives the care and nutrition they need for a brighter and healthier future.

Together, let us continue building healthier families and a well-nourished community! πŸ’™πŸ’š
