Temporaryo natong i-suspende ang face-to-face classes in all levels (kindergarten, elementary, high school, ug college) sa public ug private schools sa New Bataan sugod ugma, August 13, 2026 until lifted, tungod sa kainit sa panahon nga atong gikasinati karong mga adlawa.
Kini tungod sa Heat Index nga dili moubos sa 40°C nga atong gikabalak-an nga magdala og nagkadaiyang insidente labi nagyud sa mga estudyante.
Padayon ang klase sa mga estudyante pinaagi sa Blended Learning Modality ug atong gi-mandoan ang tanan teaching and non-teaching personnel nga mo-report gihapon sa nagkadaiyang tulunghaan.
Padayon pud ang face-to-face classes sa adunay night schedule sa kolehiyo.
Pahimangno sa tanan nga magdala permi og payong, tubig, ug uban pang butang pang-kontra laban sa init sa panahon.

For day classes at the DdOSC New Bataan Branch, students shall shift to asynchronous learning until further notice. Meanwhile, night classes shall continue to be conducted through face-to-face instruction.

HIGH HEAT INDEX ALERT‼️‼️

Due to the high heat index today, the Health Services Unit (HSU) reminds everyone to take extra precautions and protect yourself from heat-related illnesses.

💧 Stay hydrated — drink plenty of water throughout the day.
🌤️ Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially during the hottest hours.
👕 Wear light, loose, and comfortable clothing.
🧊 Stay in cool or well-ventilated areas whenever possible.
⚠️ Watch out for signs of heat illness such as headache, dizziness, excessive sweating, nausea, muscle cramps, unusual weakness, and rapid heartbeat.

If you begin to feel unwell due to the heat, stop your activity, move to a cooler place, hydrate, and seek assistance immediately.

Need help? You may also approach or reach out to any First Aid Support and Safety Team - FASST Member near yo, especially those whom you know and can easily contact. They are also ready to provide initial assistance and help connect you with the appropriate health services when needed.

MARCH is Rabies Awareness Month! 🐾

Rabies is deadly but preventable! ⚠️ It spreads through bites or scratches from infected animals — usually dogs.

QUICK SAFETY TIPS:
🧼 Wash any bite or scratch for 15 minutes
💉 Seek medical care at the nearest ABTC (Animal bite Treatment Center)
🐶 Vaccinate your pets regularly.
❌ Avoid tandok and other myths. They cannot prevent rabies.

✅ Let’s protect our community! Report bites immediately. Stay alert, stay safe!
