She shared: "In 2019, my world turned upside down. I was diagnosed with 𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿, and it was one of the scariest moments of my life. I underwent TAHBSO (operation) on January 9, 2019, at EVRMC and waited for my biopsy result. By February 2019, I found out it was cancer. The biopsy results prompted my doctor to advise me to undergo chemotherapy—a journey full of pain, weakness, and emotional ups and downs. Each treatment left me more exhausted than the last, and my body was fighting not just cancer, but also the harsh side effects of the treatment.
