It’s a little space where strangers arrive and somehow leave feeling like old friends. A place where stories are shared over coffee, meals are cooked together, hammocks become little homes for a while, and people slow down enough to simply be.

To everyone who has visited The Nook & Cranny—those who stayed for a night, spent a weekend, joined an adventure, made art, shared music, or simply sat quietly under the trees—thank you. 🤎

You may have only passed through, but every person leaves a little piece of their story here.

And perhaps that’s what makes The Nook special—not the place itself, but the people who fill it with memories.

🦋 A little sign that life feels safe here.

Lately, we’ve been witnessing something beautiful at The Nook & Cranny — mariposa moths mating, breeding, and beginning another generation right here on our land.

In nature, their presence tells us that this little piece of earth provides something they need: food, shelter, and a place undisturbed enough for life to continue. It means our land isn’t just a place we stay in — it’s becoming a small home for other beings too. 🌿

And perhaps, in a more symbolic way, the mariposa reminds us of transformation, rebirth, intuition, and new beginnings.

From a tiny egg, to a caterpillar, to a cocoon, and finally to wings — a quiet reminder that growth takes time, and beautiful things often happen unseen.

Maybe that’s what The Nook & Cranny is meant to be:
a little corner of the earth where life can slow down, transform, and begin again. 🤎

🦋 A little miracle at The Nook & Cranny.

Today, we witnessed a Mariposa moth just emerge from its cocoon — fragile, quiet, and completely new to the world.

There’s something deeply beautiful about witnessing a creature transform before your eyes.

Spiritually, the moth is often seen as a symbol of transformation, rebirth, intuition, and finding your way toward the light. Its emergence reminds us that growth can happen quietly, in darkness, before we are ready to show our wings.

Perhaps this little Mariposa arrived at The Nook as a gentle reminder:

✨ You are allowed to change.
✨ You are allowed to begin again.
✨ Even in the darkest seasons, there is a way toward the light.

Nature has a way of reminding us that becoming takes time.
