The PhilHealth GAMOT (Guaranteed and Accessible Medications for Outpatient Treatment) program is a specialized benefit package designed to provide free outpatient medicines to all PhilHealth members and their dependents.

It is the pharmaceutical delivery arm of the YAKAP (Yaman ng Kalusugan Program), formerly known as the Konsulta program.

Key Benefits
Medicine Allowance: Provides up to ₱20,000 worth of free outpatient medicines annually for common acute and chronic conditions.

Coverage: It covers a list of 75 essential medications for conditions such as:

Diabetes (e.g., Metformin, Gliclazide)

Hypertension/High Blood Pressure (e.g., Amlodipine, Losartan)

High Cholesterol (e.g., Simvastatin)

Asthma and COPD (e.g., Salbutamol)

Infections (e.g., Amoxicillin, Ciprofloxacin)

Common symptoms (e.g., Paracetamol, ORS)

How to Avail of the Program
Register with YAKAP: A member must be registered with an accredited YAKAP Clinic (primary care provider).

Consultation: Visit your chosen YAKAP clinic for a medical assessment.

Digital Prescription: If medicine is needed, the doctor will issue a prescription through the GAMOT App.

Claiming: Present the prescription and a valid ID to any accredited GAMOT Pharmacy (like Olongapo Drugstore) to receive the medicines for free.

Cost for Patients
Public Facilities: All services and medicines are completely free.

Private Facilities: While the medicines are free, some private clinics may charge a small annual co-payment (maximum of ₱900) for administrative costs, which covers the member for the entire year.
