The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) warns the public against the purchase and use of counterfeit Purified Rabies Vaccine (Vero Cell) (SPEEDA). This counterfeit product poses serious health risks, and its distribution violates Republic Act No. 9711 or the Food and Drug Administration Act of 2009, and Republic Act No. 8203 or the Special Law on Counterfeit Drugs. FDA urges all consumers to buy only from FDA-licensed establishments, while local government units and law enforcement agencies are advised to prevent the circulation of such counterfeit products.
