Coco peat, coconet and cocolog are all products of the coconut husk. Coconet is made from coir twine—a product of husk fibers, while coco peat came from the dust and cocolog is a combination of coconet, coco peat and coir.

Other than their uses in bio-engineering technology and as a plant productivity booster, coconet, cocolog and coco peat has more to offer. Coconet is used as an underlay for road shoulders, landscaping, beautification and even in wasteland rehabilitation while cocologs are used for seedling growing of orchids and mangroves. Coco peat, on the other hand, is also used in urban and landscape gardening, cutflower production, rainwater saving, biofiltration and animal bedding.
