Have a blessed new year!
As we step into 2026, here’s a reminder I’ve been sitting with.
The world is loud about pushing harder.
More hours. More pressure. More striving.
As if exhaustion is proof that you’re doing life right.
I’ve lived that cycle — waiting, working, wondering if anything was actually moving. Quietly asking God, “Am I missing something?”
But Scripture offers a freeing truth:
God’s timing doesn’t require constant struggle.
Look at Joseph.
Joseph didn’t step into his calling because he hustled harder.
He was faithful in places he never planned to be — misunderstood, overlooked, and forgotten.
Sold into slavery.
Serving without recognition.
Leading in obscurity.
Even in prison, Joseph chose integrity when no one was watching.
And then — in one day — everything shifted.
One morning, he was behind bars.
By nightfall, he stood before Pharaoh.
What years of effort couldn’t produce, God accomplished in a moment.
Not because Joseph earned it through suffering,
but because the appointed time had come.
Joseph’s waiting was never wasted.
Every quiet season shaped his character.
Every delay prepared him for responsibility.
And when the door opened, it opened fully.
So as 2026 begins, remember this:
~Just because no one sees it yet doesn’t mean it’s not happening
~Showing up where you are is more important than rushing ahead
~What feels confusing now can become clear in a moment
Yes, work with excellence.
Yes, stay obedient.
But don’t carry this year believing everything depends on your ability to push.
When God is ready, the door will open without force.
The promotion won’t need defending.
The shift won’t need chasing.
Walk into 2026 grounded, not anxious.
Steady, not desperate.
Trusting that the same God who lifted Joseph can move just as swiftly today.
Your next chapter may arrive sooner — and more effortlessly — than you expect.
