Today marks a milestone for the Mayor Hilarion A. Ramiro Sr. Medical Center Department of Pediatrics—one that fills our hearts with pride and gratitude.

We celebrate our first batch of graduates "Batch Primo" - Dr Justin Clark Erigbuagas, Dr. Ivy Salig, Dr Junessa Murallon, Dr Jennifer Figueroa- , who have journeyed with dedication, resilience, and unwavering compassion. You have not only completed your training—you have helped shape the identity and spirit of our department. You will always be our first babies- our pioneers- and wherever you go, you hopefully carry with you the values we have built together.

At the same time, we warmly welcome our new residents, as they don their white coats and begin their own journey in pediatrics. Your White Coat Ceremony is not just a tradition—it is a promise to serve, to care, and to grow into the kind of physicians our children deserve.

To our graduates—thank you for trusting us. You are now one with us in honing new pediatricians to serve in our community.

🎄✨ PASKO SA TONGGO: Reaching Children Where They Are ✨🎄

Last December 29, the MHARS-MC Department of Pediatrics stepped outside hospital walls and into the homes and lives of the community we serve. Through our annual outreach activity, Pasko sa Tonggo: Reaching Children Where They Are, we were given the privilege of spending Christmas with around 130 Subanen children and their families from Sitio Tonggo.

For many of these children, the gifts, food packs, and shared moments of joy were more than holiday treats—they were a reminder that someone came for them, remembered them, and chose to meet them where they are 🎁✨
For us, it was a quiet reminder of why service matters.

This outreach was made possible through the generosity of many hearts. To everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported this activity—your kindness became presence, and your presence was felt.

We are deeply grateful for the generous donations of our consultants, given with trust, sincerity, and a shared belief in reaching children beyond hospital walls. We are equally thankful to our residents, whose time, energy, and compassion helped turn these acts of generosity into moments of genuine care.
