Did you know that typhoid fever is a serious bacterial infection caused by Salmonella Typhi? It is usually spread when a person consumes food or water contaminated with the bacteria.

👶 Children can be particularly vulnerable, so knowing how to prevent infection is an important part of keeping your family healthy.

🦠 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗬𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗜𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠?
Be extra careful with:
🥗 Raw fruits & vegetables – especially those washed with unsafe water
🥛 Unpasteurized milk and dairy products
🦪 Raw or undercooked shellfish from contaminated waters
🍢 Food from places with poor hygiene or sanitation(BBQ, half-cooked food)
🧊 Ice or drinks made with unsafe water
