Ngayong rainy season, huwag hayaang may naiipong tubig sa paligid ng bahay dahil pwedeng pag-itlogan ito ng lamok. Bukod sa abala sa tao, mosquito bites can also put pets at risk for diseases like heartworm.

Linisin ang paligid, itapon ang naiipong tubig, at siguraduhing updated ang parasite prevention ng pet mo.

“Basa lang naman” — pero pwedeng magsimula ang skin irritation diyan. 🌧️🐾

Kapag laging nababasa ang balahibo or balat ng pet mo, lalo na ngayong rainy season, pwedeng mag-cause ng kati, pamumula, bad odor, hot spots, or skin infection.

Kung nabasa sa ulan or baha, patuyuin agad nang maayos — especially sa paws, tiyan, singit, at ears.

Floodwater can carry bacteria, chemicals, and other contaminants that may irritate your pet’s skin or make them sick if ingested. After exposure, rinse and dry their paws properly—and watch out for vomiting, diarrhea, wounds, redness, or panghihina.

Hindi laging dumi ang dahilan ng pangangati. Minsan, pwedeng allergy, fleas, mites, skin infection, or irritation from overbathing or the wrong shampoo.

Kung laging nangangati ang pet mo kahit napapaliguan naman, mas okay na ipa-check para malaman ang totoong cause.
