PNSI is the pioneer institution in Naturopathy in the Philippines established in 2009 with members exclusive only to naturopathy practitioners who are graduates of Richter School of Natural Therapeutics and other recognized naturopathy schools in the Philippines. The organization was founded by Cecilia Lucentales, D.Sc. (AM) - the chairperson of Richter School of Natural Therapeutics - the pioneer
school offering Basic Naturopathy Certification course as well as Iridology training and is the ONLY alternative medicine training with its own clinical training facility - the Richter Alternative Medical Center Phils., Inc. and has produced a total of 147 Batches of Naturopathy graduates and the most number of alternative medicine clinic branches and affiliates throughout the Philippines. In November 2011 PNSI held its very First Philippine Naturopathy Practitioners' Convention and exhibition in Makati City with the theme: "Embracing Natural Healing Toward a Healthy World" with keynote speaker PITAHC Director-General Juvencio F. Ordona, MD who was represented by Francis Vincent Ras, MD.
