SAFER DIGITAL SPACES FOR OUR STUDENTS! 🇵🇭💻

The Philippine government—through DepEd, DILG, and NTC—is stepping up to protect our youth both on and off the screen.

To curb harmful media, the NTC and DILG are ordering internet providers to block websites hosting violent content, while local government units monitor internet cafes near school zones. Inside the classroom, DepEd is hiring more dedicated guidance counselors, integrating digital safety into the K-12 curriculum, and setting up active Child Protection Desks in every school.
