May haze sa inyong area? Take extra care when heading outdoors. 😷

Haze from forest fires in Kalimantan, Indonesia is currently affecting air quality in parts of the Philippines, carried by the prevailing Habagat. Some areas have recorded very unhealthy to acutely unhealthy air quality due to elevated fine particulate matter (PM2.5).

The Department of Health advises the public to limit prolonged outdoor activities and wear appropriate protection when going outside, particularly for children, older adults, and people with existing heart or respiratory conditions.

Stay informed. Check official air-quality advisories and take the necessary precautions before heading outdoors.
