Ateneo de Manila University congratulates its newest doctors, who passed the Oct 2026 Physician Licensure Exam of the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission.

All 136 examinees from the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health (ASMPH) passed the licensure exam, with one of them making it into the top 10:

The Ateneo Center for Research Innovation (ACRI), with funding from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), developed a comprehensive directory of service providers for children with autism and their families across key cities nationwide. The ACRI continues to update the directory to further expand access to specialized care for ASD. This initiative is part of the project "The Reliability and Validity of the Childhood Autism Spectrum Test (CAST) in School Age Filipino Children," aiming to standardize a local ASD screening tool—a critical step toward conducting the country’s first nationwide autism prevalence study.

Until inclusive, quality mental health care is within reach for every Filipino. The DOST-PCHRD, through its Brain and Mental Health R&D Program, will continue championing evidence-based solutions creating better systems and services for all. 🩵

“Soar in compassion, soar in leadership, soar as a batch, soar together.”

In his commencement address to ASMPH Batch 2026, Dr Erric Cinco reminded them to carry with them the lessons of sacrifice, gratitude, purpose, and service as they take on their roles as physicians and leaders.

And in true Dr Cinco fashion, he brought out the lightsaber, reminding the graduates to “Use The Force” as they become a force for positive change.
