Hindi sapat ang unang dose lang ng anti-rabies vaccine. Ang hindi pagkumpleto ng iyong vaccination schedule ay maaaring mag-iwan sa iyo ng panganib laban sa rabies—isang sakit na halos 100% fatal kapag nagkaroon na ng sintomas.

ANO ANG ERIG? KAILAN ITO KAILANGAN?
Alam mo ba na ang Equine Rabies Immunoglobulin (ERIG) ay nagbibigay ng agarang proteksyon laban sa rabies para sa mga pasyenteng may high-risk exposure?
Karaniwang isinasaalang-alang ang ERIG sa mga malalim o dumudugong kagat, kagat sa mukha, ulo, leeg, kamay o daliri, at iba pang exposures na may mataas na panganib.
⚠️ Huwag hintayin ang sintomas ng rabies bago magpatingin. Ang rabies ay halos palaging nakamamatay kapag nagsimula na ang clinical symptoms, ngunit maaari itong maiwasan sa pamamagitan ng tamang post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).
