New name, same condition, better understanding.

PCOS now has a new name: PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Syndrome).

Bakit pinalitan? Dahil ang kondisyon na ito ay hindi lang basta umiikot sa o***y. Nakaaapekto rin ito sa hormones, metabolism, at buong katawan.

Parehong kondisyon pa rin, pero mas angkop at mas makabuluhan na pangalan para sa mas malawak na pang-unawa sa kalusugan.
