💉 | Anti-Flu Vaccination para sa mga Senior Citizen

Patuloy na isinagawa ang pagbabakuna sa bayan ng Pilar kontra trangkaso para sa mga senior citizen bilang bahagi ng pangangalaga sa mga vulnerable population sa ating komunidad.

Ang mga bakunang ginamit ay ipinagkaloob ng Provincial Health Office (PHO) ng Sorsogon upang maprotektahan ang kalusugan ng ating mga nakatatanda laban sa influenza.

Para sa karagdagang impormasyon, maaaring makipag-ugnayan o pumunta sa pinakamalapit na health center sa inyong barangay.

The PuroKalusugan Program in Brgy. Esperanza underwent implementation monitoring conducted by the Center for Health Development (CHD) Bicol, headed by Ms. Ada Borjal Almonguera, to assess program implementation and strengthen the delivery of community-based health services.

The activity highlighted the efforts of the assigned Human Resources for Health (HRH), Melody Angelie Dogillo, and the support of BLGU Esperanza in carrying out health interventions and services at the barangay level.

Also present during the monitoring were Rural Health Physician Dr. Ryan Jay Moises , DOH-DTTB Dra. Celine Mesina, and DOH-HRH Mary Ann Garil-Himor and Sheryl Hagad, demonstrating the collective support and commitment of the RHU Pilar team toward advancing community health programs.

Through collaborative efforts and continuous monitoring, the Municipality of Pilar remains committed to ensuring accessible, quality, and people-centered healthcare services for every Pilareño.

“LIGHT THE LEGACY: Remember. Advance. Act.” 🕯️

The Rural Health Unit of Pilar, in partnership with the Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Esperanza, Danlog, and Putiao, joins the observance of the 2026 International AIDS Candlelight Memorial.

Held at Esperanza Integrated School, this activity promotes HIV/AIDS awareness, remembrance, solidarity, and the continued fight against stigma and discrimination.

This activity is led by the RHU Pilar HIV/STI Coordinator Ma’am Maricel Ebuenga, HEPO Coordinator Ma’am Joanne Nocedo, HRH-Pilar Melody Angelie Dogillo, Mary Ann Garil-Himor and Sheryl Hagad, with the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairpersons: Hon. Alyssa Añonuevo (Esperanza), Hon. Mylene Briol (Danlog), and Hon. Rizza Marbida (Putiao).

IN PHOTOS: Led by the Provincial Health Office in partnership with RHU Pilar, the Anti Flu Vaccination was formally launched yesterday, May 14, 2026, in the Municipality of Pilar as part of the continuing efforts to strengthen public health services for Sorsoganons.

The vaccines were procured by the Provincial Government to help ensure the health and safety of the people of Sorsogon. The initiative aims to provide protection to priority beneficiaries, including senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), pregnant women (2nd trimester and above) and Health Care Workers.
