ALAM NIYO BA? Hindi lang 'yung mismong sakit ang tinitingnan ng Pediatrician. Hindi lang namin tinitingnan ang pangunahing reklamo, kundi ang buong katawan ng bata.

​Sa bawat pedia check-up, mahalaga ang full physical examination—mula ulo hanggang paa.

​Gaya ng isang 3-year-old patient na dinala sa clinic dahil sa pagsusuka. Sa buong pagsusuri, nagkaroon kami ng incidental finding: may foreign body pala na nakasaksak sa kanyang ilong! Buti na lang at hindi siya nahirapang huminga. Hindi alam ni mami at dadi na may pinasok sa ilong si bunso, at hindi din alam kung kelan pa ito.
Narefer nmn ntn agad sa ENT at natanggal din agad at bute wala pang naging infection sa loob.

​PAALALA SA MGA MAGULANG:

​Exploring Stage: Sa edad na ito, napaka-kuryoso ng mga bata.

​Ingat sa Maliliit na Bagay: Hanggat may butas (ilong, tainga, bibig) at may kasya, pwedeng-pwede nila itong ipasok nang hindi natin namamalayan!

​Maging Mapanuri: Laging suriin ang mga laruan at siguraduhing walang maliliit na parteng pwedeng matanggal (beads, button batteries, maliliit na plastic).

Looking back at this photo, I’m reminded of how far we’ve come. From young doctors with big dreams, to friends who became family—through sleepless nights, countless stories, laughter, challenges, and seasons of life, we somehow found our way through it all together.

Years may pass, paths may change, and life may take us in different directions, but some friendships remain a piece of home.

And perhaps the most beautiful part is that we get to share the same calling—to serve Filipino children with compassion, to care for them when they are most vulnerable, and to leave a little kindness wherever our work takes us.

Forever grateful for the memories, the friendship, and the journey we continue to share.
