A Mobile Blood Donation Activity was successfully conducted in Barangay Maynaga to encourage voluntary blood donation and help ensure an adequate blood supply for patients in need.

The activity was facilitated by Nurse Don with the full support of the Barangay Council and the assistance of the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), whose efforts contributed to the successful conduct of the activity.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all volunteer blood donors, the RHU Polangui Team, and the BRBC Blood Bank Team for their dedication and support in this life-saving initiative.

RHU Personnel and Human Resources for Health (HRH) attended the three-day iClinicSys Training conducted by the DOH Bicol Center for Health Development.

The training aimed to enhance participantsโ€™ knowledge and skills in the utilization of the iClinicSys electronic health information system, strengthening healthcare documentation, reporting, and service delivery at the local level.

RHU Polangui personnel joined the Grand Opening of the Pulang-Angui Festival 2026 in support of the municipalityโ€™s celebration of culture, heritage, and community spirit.

In addition, RHU staff were deployed as medical responders during the Drums and Lyres Competition to ensure the safety and well-being of participants, performers, and spectators throughout the event.

The RHU extends its appreciation to the Local Government Unit of Polangui under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Hon. Jesciel Richard G. Salceda for continuously promoting activities that foster unity, pride, and community engagement.

A Mobile Blood Donation Activity was successfully conducted in Barangays Cepres and Buyo to support patients in need of blood and promote voluntary blood donation in the community.

The activity was facilitated by Midwife Gel and Nurse Ritz with the full support of the Barangay Councils, Barangay Tanods, and Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), whose collective efforts contributed to the successful conduct of the activity.

Members of the LGBTQIA+ Community gathered for the forum โ€œColors of Angui: Breaking the Stigmaโ€, an empowering event aimed at promoting awareness, inclusion, acceptance, and overall well-being.

The activity was conducted by the APPA Organization in partnership with the Pulang-Angui Festival Committee, creating a safe space for meaningful discussions on issues affecting the LGBTQIA+ community.

Free HIV testing services were also provided by the RHU Polangui Team to participating community members, promoting HIV awareness, prevention, and the importance of early detection and treatment.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the APPA Organization and the Pulang-Angui Festival Committee for inviting RHU Polangui to be part of this meaningful initiative and for providing a platform to promote health education, awareness, and inclusivity within the community.

Through education, open dialogue, and community support, the forum highlighted the importance of breaking stigma, fostering understanding, and building a more inclusive and compassionate community for all.
