On August 20, 2026, the personnel of the 𝗥𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 (𝗥𝗛𝗨) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 (𝗥𝗛𝗖) 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱 participated in an 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 aimed at 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀.

The activity was conducted under the leadership of 𝗗𝗿. 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘇𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗟. 𝗝𝗮𝗹𝗮, 𝗠𝗗, 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿, 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘂 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗕𝗙𝗣) – 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱. BFP Caraga Prosperidad Fire Station

Our sincere appreciation to 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗟𝗲𝗺𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗣. 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻, 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿-𝗶𝗻-𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲/𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗙𝗣 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱, together with his dedicated team, 𝗙𝗢𝟮 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗡. 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗢𝟮 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗼 𝗠. 𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗲, for facilitating the drill and sharing their knowledge and expertise on proper emergency response, evacuation procedures, fire safety, and disaster preparedness.

The drill served as an important reminder that being prepared is everyone’s responsibility. Through regular drills and continuous learning, we can help ensure the safety not only of our healthcare personnel but also of the patients and community members we serve.

LGU Prosperidad Strengthens Local Action for Nutrition Emergencies

The LGU Prosperidad, through the Municipal Health Office-Nutrition Services, participated in the four-day Training on Nutrition in Emergencies and Information Management (NiEm-IM) conducted by the Provincial Health Office-Nutrition Services on August 17-20, 2026 at the Patin-ay Learning Center, Prosperidad, ADS. The activity brought together representatives of the Municipal Nutrition Committee members, strengthening coordination among offices in addressing nutrition concerns during emergencies.

The training went beyond lectures and discussions. Participants worked on the preparation of a Nutrition in Emergencies (NiEm) Plan, applying the concepts discussed to the actual local setting of Prosperidad. They also went through a simulation exercise where the Nutrition Cluster and the LGU were tasked to respond to a simulated emergency, covering the coordination, assessment, information management, and delivery of appropriate nutrition interventions.

For the LGU Prosperidad, the four-day activity provided an opportunity to identify what needs to be prepared before an emergency happens and, more importantly, who needs to act when it does. The exercise reinforced the importance of having a clear plan and coordinated response, particularly in ensuring that children, pregnant and lactating women, and other nutritionally vulnerable groups continue to receive the support they need even during emergencies.

MHO Brings Health and Nutrition Advocacy to Flag Retreat Ceremony

The Municipal Health Office, headed by Municipal Health Officer Dr. Fritzie Marie Jala, sponsored the regular Flag Retreat Ceremony of the Municipality of Prosperidad on Friday, August 14, 2026. Before the ceremony, municipal employees took part in a Zumba session organized by the MHO, turning the usual Friday gathering into an opportunity to get moving and take a short break from the workday routine.

The activity was followed by a short nutrition advocacy session on Pinggang Pinoy and the 10 Kumainments, focusing on simple and practical reminders that employees can apply to their daily meals. The session was part of the MHO’s support for the Healthy Workplace movement, which promotes healthier habits not only among the people served by the local government, but also among its own workforce.

The activities proceeded to the regular Flag Retreat Ceremony, where municipal employees gathered for the traditional lowering of the Philippine flag. For the MHO, the afternoon was more than a scheduled municipal activity. It was a simple way of putting health advocacy into practice, starting within the workplace, where employees spend much of their time, and showing that keeping a healthy workforce can begin with something as basic as moving together and making better choices about food.

PhilHealth Caraga Conducts YAKAP Monitoring at MHO-Prosperidad

The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) Caraga conducted the Routine Facility Services Onsite Assessment (RFSOA) for the Yaman ng Kalusugan (YAKAP) Program at the Municipal Health Office today, August 11, 2026. The assessment evaluated the facility’s implementation and delivery of the aforementioned program using the RFSOA tool, covering key areas of facility operations and service provision. The activity was welcomed by Municipal Health Officer Dr. Fritzie Marie Jala and MHO team, who presented the facility’s current practices and engaged with the PhilHealth monitoring team throughout the assessment.

The assessment was successfully completed, with only a few items identified for compliance within the 30-day period, highlighting practices that need to be sustained and areas that require minor improvements. The timely feedback allowed the health office to clarify observations and agree on practical steps to address the remaining requirements. For the Municipal Health Office, the activity served not only as a compliance assessment but also as an opportunity to further strengthen the delivery of YAKAP services in the municipality.

Municipal Health Office Leads Weekly Flag Raising Ceremony

The Municipal Health Office, headed by Municipal Health Officer Dr. Fritzie Marie Jala, served as the sponsoring office for the regular Flag Raising Ceremony of the Municipality of Prosperidad this Monday, August 10, 2026. The ceremony gathered municipal officials and employees for the weekly assembly, with Ms. Jonnalie Maquilan, RMT, serving as Master of Ceremonies. The program was conducted mostly in Filipino in observance of Buwan ng Wika, alongside the regular presentations and activities of the ceremony.

A highlight of the program was the presentation of the first-ever Green Banner Seal of Compliance awarded to the Municipality of Prosperidad for its Nutrition Services, formally presented by Engr. Romelin Agbay. The recognition was also celebrated through a photo opportunity with the members of the Municipal Nutrition Committee, whose collective work and support contributed to this milestone. The presentation gave the municipal workforce an opportunity to recognize an achievement that reflects not only the efforts of the Municipal Health Office-Nutrition Services, but also the shared commitment of the municipality to improving nutrition programs and services for Prosperidadnons
