Today, instead of posting the usual glamorous, glammed-up, fashionista photos of our Municipal Health Officer, we chose to show a side of her that we believe deserves to be celebrated just as much—𝗶𝗳 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲. ❤️

No makeup. No fancy clothes. No perfect hair. Just sweat, hard work, and a heart willing to go where she is needed.

These photos were taken during a medical mission in the mountain community of San Lorenzo, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur—𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗻. Yet there she was, right in the middle of the community, 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 she brings every day to the people of Prosperidad.

Because beyond the title Municipal Health Officer, there is a doctor who chooses to be present. A leader who 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗸. 𝗔 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘆, 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗻, 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲.

And perhaps that is the 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙝𝙚𝙧.

MHO-PROSPERIDAD PROVIDES HEALTH SERVICES DURING HANDOG NG PANGULO

The Municipal Health Office of Prosperidad, headed by Municipal Health Officer Dr. Fritzie Marie Jala, provided various health services yesterday, September 14, at the Datu Lipus Makapandong Covered Court as part of the Handog ng Pangulo, Sebisyong Sapat Para Sa Lahat.

The MHO team attended to residents all over Agusan del Sur seeking medical consultation and PhilHealth YAKAP services, alongside maternal health services, nutrition services, mental health services, PhilPEN screening, and Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA). The activity allowed residents to access multiple health services in one venue, including screening, consultation, and other primary care services.

The participation of the MHO formed part of the local implementation of the initiative, bringing primary health care services directly to the community during the Handog ng Pangulo activity. MHO personnel from the different program areas worked together to accommodate clients and provide the needed services throughout the activity.

In preparation for the implementation of the 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗢𝗛 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 – 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿 (𝗣𝗗𝗢𝗛𝗢), represented by 𝗗𝗠𝗢 𝗩 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗟. 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀, together with the 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 – 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿 (𝗣𝗛𝗢), led by 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗙. 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲, jointly conducted an orientation for 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀, 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗡𝗜𝗣) 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, and other key partners across the province.

The activity aimed to strengthen coordination, clarify implementation guidelines, and ensure the readiness of health and school partners for the upcoming school-based immunization activities.

Through strong collaboration and shared commitment, Agusan del Sur continues to move forward in protecting learners from vaccine-preventable diseases and promoting healthier and safer school communities.

RHU Prosperidad successfully conducted its 𝟮-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗦𝘆𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬–𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, to refresh and strengthen the knowledge and skills of healthcare and support staff in the proper use of the iClinicSys system.

The activity was made more meaningful through the technical guidance of 𝗠𝗿. 𝗞𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗳 𝗩. 𝗣𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗿, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗜 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗗𝗢𝗛𝗢 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿, who shared his expertise and provided hands-on guidance to the participants throughout the reorientation.

The activity was headed by Hayde Guay, 𝗥𝗡, under the supervision of the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘇𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗟. 𝗝𝗮𝗹𝗮.

The 𝗥𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱 proudly celebrates the successful conclusion of the 𝟮-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 (𝗕𝗛𝗪𝘀) 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻-𝗮𝘆, 𝗟𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲. 🎉

As the frontline partners of the Rural Health Unit, our BHWs play an invaluable role in bringing health services closer to our people. Their dedication, compassion, and willingness to serve make a meaningful difference in the lives of families and communities throughout Prosperidad.
