Calling for Blood Donors tomorrow…

In support of the “Dugong Bigay, Dugtong Buhay Program” of the Philippine Red Cross – Palawan Chapter, we are inviting

our DSAP members who are willing and eligible to donate blood and be part of this meaningful humanitarian activity.

🩸 What: Dugong Bigay, Dugtong Buhay Program

📅 When: September 19, 2026 (Saturday)

⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

📍 Where: SM Palawan – Event Center

Your blood donation can help augment the blood supply of the PRC–Palawan Chapter and may help save the lives of patients and families in need.

We encourage our DSAP members, pharmacists, drugstore owners, staff, and colleagues who are willing and qualified to participate.

PUERTO PRINCESA CITY WATER DISTRICT, NAGPAALALA SA PUBLIKO NA MAG-IMBAK NG MALINIS NA TUBIG HABANG PAPALAPIT ANG BAGYONG “TINO”

Naglabas ng paalala ang Puerto Princesa City Water District (PPCWD) sa mga residente ng lungsod kaugnay ng posibleng epekto ng Bagyong “Tino” (Kalmaegi) sa suplay ng tubig. Ayon sa ahensya, dapat mag-imbak ng sapat na malinis na tubig para sa inumin, pagluluto, at pang-araw-araw na gamit sa loob ng dalawa hanggang tatlong araw bilang paghahanda sa inaasahang sama ng panahon.

Tiniyak ng PPCWD na nakahanda ang kanilang mga pasilidad at tauhan sa anumang sitwasyon. Mayroon umano silang pitong araw na stock ng fuel at chemical treatment para sa mga pangunahing water sources, habang nakaantabay din ang mga empleyado upang matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na operasyon ng water treatment facilities, pumping stations, at mga reservoir. Naka-alerto rin ang mga maintenance teams para sa agarang tugon sakaling magkaroon ng pinsala o pagkawala ng kuryente.

Ipinayo ng PPCWD sa mga konsyumer na panatilihing malinis at nakatakip ang mga lalagyan ng tubig upang maiwasan ang kontaminasyon, at iwasan muna ang mga gawaing may mataas na konsumo ng tubig habang may bagyo. Ipinaalala rin ng ahensya na maaaring magkaroon ng pansamantalang pagkaantala ng suplay kung magkakaroon ng pinsala sa mga linya, pagbabara sa mga water sources, o pagkawala ng kuryente sa mga pasilidad.

Nanawagan ang PPCWD sa publiko na manatiling alerto, maging responsable sa paggamit ng tubig, at subaybayan ang mga opisyal na anunsyo sa kanilang social media page para sa mga update.
