Arbor Medical Technologies is seeking a motivated Bookkeeper to join our team. This can be a work from home position, or from our offices in Quezon City.
The Role:
Work with management to document and organize financial transactions. There will be recurring duties as well as one-time special projects. Organized and self-motivated candidates are ideal.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for assigned clients
- Recording financial transactions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger entries
- Reconciling bank statements and balance sheet accounts
- Preparing monthly financial statements and reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Assisting in the preparation of tax returns and supporting other accounting activities as needed
- Assisting in the on-boarding of new employees

The Requirements:
- Proficiency in Excel and a good understanding of Quickbooks is a must
- Work experience as a bookkeeper or accounting professional is ideal
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping
- Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS accounting principles is helpful
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness in handling confidential financial information
Ideal Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant work experience
- Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper, Certified Public Accountant)
- Prior experience working with US-based clients is a plus
