๐ก๏ธ STAY INFORMED. STAY PROTECTED. STAY TOGETHER.
COVID-19 continues to circulate in our communities. While most infections remain mild, infants, children with underlying medical conditions, older adults, and other vulnerable individuals remain at higher risk for complications.
As part of our commitment to promoting preventive healthcare, PQ HealthShield is sharing this public health advisory to support the Pediatric Infectious Disease Society of the Philippines (PIDSP) in raising awareness about COVID-19 and the simple steps we can all take to protect our families and communities.
Remember these simple but effective habits:
๐ Stay home if you or your child develops symptoms.
๐งช Consider COVID-19 testing when appropriate, especially before returning to school or work.
๐ท Wear a well-fitting mask if you are sick, have been exposed, or are in crowded indoor spaces.
๐ฅ Avoid unnecessary crowds when unwell.
โค๏ธ Seek medical attention promptly if symptoms become severe or if you have concerns about worsening illness.
There is no need for alarm. Staying informed, practicing good hygiene, and making responsible health decisions remain the best ways to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses.
Together, we can continue to protect our children, our loved ones, and those most vulnerable in our communities.
