One common MYTH about cancer is that it can make cancer grow and spread. BUT, this is not true.

A biopsy only takes a small bit of tissue for examination and is needed to make the correct diagnosis. It allows your doctor to treat your cancer based on its specific type.

A lump in the neck can be benign (noncancerous) or malignant (noncancerous). Without appropriate check up and imaging, you won't know which one it is.

Have yourself a consult if you have a lump in the neck. :)
