Our industry symposium featured presentations by:
▶️Dr. Natalie Chandler, NHS North Thames Genomic Laboratory Hub and NHS Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, UK
▶️Dr. Sang Hung Tang, Medical Director, Medical Genetics Institute of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
▶️Dr. Hoa Giang, Co-founder and Chief Data Science Officer, Gene Solutions, US
▶️Dr. Minh-Duy Phan, Head of Data Science, Gene Solutions, Australia
▶️Ida Deleskog Lindstroem, Global Medical Affairs Director, Gene Solutions, Singapore
The symposium highlighted:
🔹 Real-world evidence from 225,092 pregnant women across six Asian countries who were screened for 18 common recessive conditions through routine NIPT infrastructure, providing one of the largest real-world datasets on NIPT-integrated carrier screening.
🔹 More than 1 in 4 women were identified as carriers of at least one screened condition, reinforcing the value of integrating carrier screening into routine prenatal care through a single maternal blood draw.
🔹 Emerging research on AI-powered multi-omic analysis showed how molecular signals within existing cfDNA data could help predict pregnancy complications such as gestational diabetes mellitus and preterm birth, without additional blood collection or sequencing.
🔹 From Asia to the world: Since 2018, Gene Solutions’ triSure NIPT has supported prenatal care for millions of pregnant women through thousands of hospitals and clinics across Asia. Backed by a global network of next-generation sequencing laboratories and more than 20 publications on NIPT and genetic landscapes, triSure Procare was presented to a global scientific audience for the first time at ISPD 2026, marking another milestone in Gene Solutions’ expansion across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.
Collectively, the global experts emphasized that the future of prenatal care is not only about generating broader genomic insights, but also about ensuring responsible implementation through robust validation, genetic counselling, and equitable access.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at ISPD 2026 to explore the next chapter of precision prenatal medicine.
