I said yes before I knew how.
The storm came anyway.
So did the deadline.

My boss asked if I could do 3D motion graphics for the PBA Philippine Cup opening billboard.

I had no business saying yes.
But I did.
I opened After Effects. Started studying. Applied everything in real time — no tutorials finished, no safety net, just the project staring back at me demanding to be done.
Then Typhoon Ondoy hit.
Water outside. Renders inside. The low-spec desktop grinding through every frame like it knew what was at stake.
And somehow — it got finished.
It aired on national TV.
Millions watched it.
Nobody knew it was built by someone who didn't know how yet.
That's the thing about saying yes before you're ready —
it forces you to become the person who can.
