Ever experienced a sudden sharp pain when drinking ice-cold water, eating ice cream, or enjoying your favorite cold drink?

Tooth sensitivity can happen when the protective enamel becomes worn down or when the gums recede, exposing the more sensitive parts of the tooth.

Common causes may include:
- Brushing too hard
- Frequent consumption of acidic foods and drinks
- Gum recession
- Teeth grinding
- Tooth decay or a cracked tooth
- Recent dental treatments

Occasional sensitivity doesn't always mean something serious, but if the pain is frequent, intense, or getting worse, it's worth having your teeth checked by a dentist.

TIP: Use a soft-bristled toothbrush, avoid brushing too aggressively, and consider a toothpaste formulated for sensitive teeth.

Don't just learn to live with tooth sensitivity. Your teeth may be trying to tell you something.

A little reminder: your teeth need attention too! 🦷✨

Regular dental visits aren’t just for when something hurts. Routine check-ups help detect cavities, gum problems, and other dental concerns early—before they become bigger and more painful problems.

So don’t wait until your smile starts asking for help. Give your dentist a visit and keep your smile healthy, happy, and beaming! 💙💛

Rainy day na naman! With the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) bringing rains across parts of the country today, most of us are spending more time indoors, reaching for warm drinks, snacks, and comfort food.

But did you know your rainy-day habits can also affect your oral health?

1. More coffee, milk tea, or sweetened drinks? Frequent exposure to sugar can increase the risk of tooth decay.

2. More snacking while staying indoors? Food particles can stay on your teeth longer if you don't brush and floss properly.

3. Staying hydrated still matters! Saliva helps protect and clean your mouth, so don't forget to drink water even when the weather is cool. Reduced saliva can increase the risk of cavities and other oral problems.

4. And of course, keep up with your daily routine—brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, floss daily, and don't forget to replace your toothbrush every 3–4 months or when the bristles become worn.

Rain or shine, your smile still needs care!

Stay safe and dry this Habagat season. and keep your smile healthy!

They say time heals everything… ⏳🦷
But cavities? Nope. Those need a dentist!

Unlike minor mouth discomfort that may settle on its own, a cavity won’t heal itself. Once tooth enamel is damaged by decay, the problem can continue to progress and eventually cause sensitivity, pain, infection, or more extensive tooth damage.

So don’t wait for the “right time” to take care of your teeth! Regular brushing, flossing, a balanced diet, and routine dental check-ups can help keep cavities away and your smile healthy.

Because sometimes, the best thing you can do is not give the cavity more time. 😉🦷

Just had a tooth extraction? What you eat during the first few days can help keep the area comfortable while it heals. Eating soft foods that are easy to chew and swallow can help you avoid putting unnecessary pressure on the extraction site.

After your procedure, remember to stay hydrated, avoid using a straw, and follow your dentist’s instructions carefully. Avoid hard, crunchy, sticky, spicy, or very hot foods that may irritate the area.

It’s also important to keep your mouth clean without disturbing the extraction site. Follow the oral-care instructions provided by your dentist and avoid habits that could interfere with healing.

Most importantly, give your mouth time to recover. If you experience persistent or worsening pain, swelling, bleeding, fever, or other unusual symptoms, contact your dentist for proper advice.

A little extra care after an extraction can go a long way toward a smoother recovery. ✨

Brushing your teeth cleans the front, back, and chewing surfaces, but it can't effectively clean between your teeth. That's where flossing comes in.

Skipping flossing allows plaque and food particles to build up between teeth, which can lead to Cavities between teeth, Bleeding gums and gum disease, Bad breath and Tartar buildup,

Flossing once a day helps keep your gums healthy and your smile clean. It only takes a minute but can make a big difference in your oral health!
