Abnormal wind conditions have driven dense smoke from forest fires in Kalimantan, Indonesia, across the region. In response to dangerous spikes in PM2.5 and PM10 particulates reported by the DENR-EMB, local authorities including Quezon City have halted face-to-face classes in public schools and key facilities.

​Recommended Health Precautions
​Remain Inside:
Keep all doors and windows shut, and avoid stepping outdoors unless absolutely necessary.

​Use Respiratory Protection:
Wear a tightly fitted N95 or equivalent mask if you must leave your home.
