๐ก๐ Strengthening Innovation Through Intellectual Property Awareness ๐๐ก
The Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care (PITAHC) successfully conducted the Basic Orientation Seminar on Intellectual Property (IP) in partnership with the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), providing PITAHC personnel with valuable knowledge on the protection and management of intellectual property rights.
The seminar covered key topics on intellectual property, including trademarks, geographical indications, copyright, patents, utility models, industrial designs, protection of IP assets, and the reporting of IP rights violations. Through these discussions, participants gained a deeper appreciation of the role of intellectual property in fostering innovation, safeguarding research outputs, and promoting responsible knowledge management.
PITAHC extends its sincerest gratitude to Dr. Ma. Teresa C. Iรฑigo, MD, FPCAM, CESE, Director General, for her steadfast support in advancing a culture of innovation and intellectual property awareness within the Institute.
We also express our heartfelt appreciation to our distinguished resource speakers from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL):
