Ang bakunang Measles-Rubella ay:
✔️ Inaprubahan ng World Health Organization (WHO) at Department of Health (DOH).
✔️ Ginagamit na sa milyun-milyong bata sa buong mundo sa loob ng maraming taon.
✔️ Dumaan sa masusing pagsusuri upang matiyak ang kaligtasan, kalidad, at bisa nito.

Maaaring makaranas ang ilang bata ng banayad na side effects tulad ng:
🌡️ Bahagyang lagnat
💉 Pananakit o pamumula sa lugar ng iniksyon
😴 Panandaliang pagiging iritable o pag-aantok

✨ Ang mga ito ay normal lamang at karaniwang nawawala sa loob ng 1–2 araw.

Ang mas mahalagang tandaan ay ang bakuna ay nagbibigay ng proteksyon laban sa tigdas (measles) at rubella, mga sakit na maaaring magdulot ng malubhang komplikasyon at maging ng kamatayan.

🌿🍎 Nutrition Month Celebration & Nutrivention Caravan 2026 🍎🌿

With the theme "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!", Barangay Salvacion successfully conducted its Nutrition Month Celebration and Nutrivention Caravan on July 21, 2026, at the Salvacion Gymnasium. The activity brought together community members and partner agencies in promoting proper nutrition, healthy lifestyles, environmental stewardship, and accessible government services.

The celebration served as a venue to strengthen public awareness on the importance of balanced nutrition, food security, and sustainable practices while providing essential services such as medical consultations, nutrition services, environmental sanitation services, MSWDO services, and the distribution of seeds and seedlings by Municipal Agriculture Office to encourage household gardening and self-sufficiency.

Adding color and excitement to the celebration were the contested activities, which showcased the creativity, talent, and advocacy of our participants. The competitions included Nutriwear: Parade of Healthy Heroes, Masustansyang Pinggan, Malusog na Pamilya, and Kulay ng Kalusugan, all of which highlighted the importance of proper nutrition, healthy eating, and environmental care through fun and meaningful participation.

The success of this celebration was made possible through the collective efforts of our partner agencies, Barangay Officials, Barangay Nutrition Committee, health workers, volunteers, judges, participants, and everyone who extended their time and support. Your commitment and active participation truly reflected our shared goal of building a healthier, stronger, and more nutrition-conscious Barangay Salvacion.

Together, we continue to prove that by caring for our nutrition and our environment, we create a healthier future for every family.

A healthy community begins with healthy and informed mothers. Through our Barangay Mother's Class, we provide a venue where mothers can learn about maternal and child health, proper nutrition, breastfeeding, immunization, family planning, and other essential health topics.

This activity aims to empower mothers with knowledge and practical skills that promote healthy families, prevent illnesses, and improve the overall well-being of the community. By working together at the barangay level, we strengthen family health and build a healthier future for everyone.
