𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗟 𝗥𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗦 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗕𝗥𝗚𝗬. 𝗣𝗘Ñ𝗔𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗔

As part of its continuing commitment to bring quality healthcare services closer to the community, the Samal Rural Health Unit successfully conducted its first Medical Outreach and Dental Services activity for the month of June in Barangay Peñaplata.

The outreach was spearheaded by Rural Health Physician Dr. Stephanie Alva Risonar-Parreño, together with dedicated RHU personnel, who provided essential medical and dental services to residents, ensuring that healthcare remains accessible and responsive to the needs of every Samaleño.

The successful implementation of this activity was made possible through the invaluable support and cooperation of Barangay Peñaplata, under the leadership of Punong Barangay Alan C. Cañete, Jr., whose commitment to community welfare contributed greatly to the smooth conduct of the program.

𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗

✅ 55 residents received medical check-up services
✅ 14 infants benefited from the Sagipin Unang Ngipin program
✅ 6 clients underwent tooth extraction procedures
✅ 2 individuals received dental consultations
✅ 1 pregnant woman received prenatal consultation and assessment

Through activities like this, the Rural Health Unit of Samal continues to uphold its mission of providing accessible, responsive, and people-centered healthcare services for every Samaleño

𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛 𝗜𝗡 𝗕𝗥𝗚𝗬. 𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐆𝐌𝐀𝐍: 𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗜, 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗦

The Samal Rural Health Unit once again conducted a Medical outreach activity in Barangay Catagman to bring medical services closer to residents.

Led by Rural Health Physician, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐯𝐚 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫-𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧̃𝐨, together with RHU healthcare workers, the team provided free medical consultation, tuli operation, dental extraction, prenatal consultation, and X-ray services to residents of the barangay.

In line with the Senior Citizen Social Pension payout activity in the barangay, the RHU also took the opportunity to conduct medical check-ups for senior citizens to help assess their health conditions and provide immediate healthcare assistance when needed.

The outreach activity was made possible through the support and cooperation of the Barangay Officials of Catagman under the leadership of Punong Barangay 𝐑𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐇. 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨, whose assistance contributed to the successful and orderly conduct of the activity.

𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗗:

• 𝟏𝟐 clients underwent successful tuli operation
• 𝟳𝟑 residents received medical consultation
• 𝟏𝟓 clients availed of tooth extraction services
• 𝟐 individuals received dental consultation
• 𝟒 pregnant women received prenatal consultation
•𝟏𝟓 clients availed of X-ray services

The Samal Rural Health Unit remains committed to promoting accessible and community-based healthcare services for every Samaleño through continuous outreach activities and public health programs.

The Samal Rural Health Unit successfully conducted a Medical Outreach Activity in Barangay Peñaplata, bringing essential healthcare services closer to the community through free medical consultation and Operation Tuli services.

The activity was led by City Health Officer, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐬 𝐃. 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬, and Rural Health Physician, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐯𝐚 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫-𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧̃𝐨, together with the dedicated RHU personnel, providing essential medical and surgical services to residents of the barangay.

This meaningful initiative was made possible through the support and cooperation of Barangay Peñaplata under the leadership of Punong Barangay, 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐂. 𝐂𝐚𝐧̃𝐞𝐭𝐞, 𝐉𝐫., whose assistance greatly contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of the outreach activity.

𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗:
• 60 individuals successfully underwent Tuli Operation
• 58 residents received medical consultation and wellness check-ups

Through activities like this, the Samal Rural Health Unit continues to uphold its mission of providing accessible, responsive, and people-centered healthcare services to every Samaleño.
