RIGHTSIGN Dengue Ag and Ab Combo
Price 4,000/box (10pcs)
The RightSign Dengue Ag and Ab Combo Test is a rapid immunochromatographic assay that screens for dengue virus infection. It simultaneously detects the NS1 Antigen (the virus itself) and IgG/IgM Antibodies (your body's immune response) from a single whole blood, serum, or plasma. The cassette generally features distinct testing zones for the Antigen and the Antibodies. A colored line must always appear in the Control (C) zone for the test to be valid.
1. Dengue NS1 Antigen (Ag)
Positive: A colored line appears in the Test (T) zone. This indicates an active, acute-phase dengue infection (usually within the first 1 to 9 days of fever).
Negative: No colored line appears in the T zone.Interpretation: The virus is not detected at this stage, though it can test negative if you were infected very early (first 24-48 hours) or past day 9.2.
2.Dengue IgG/IgM Antibodies (Ab)IgM
Positive: Indicates a recent or primary infection. IgM antibodies typically start appearing 3 to 5 days after symptom onset.IgG Positive: Indicates a past or secondary infection. IgG usually appears after 14 days and provides long-term immunity to that specific serotype.
Negative: No lines appear in the G or M zones.
