𝓘𝓷-𝓗𝓸𝓾𝓼𝓮 𝓒𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓲𝓬𝓪𝓵 𝓟𝓱𝓪𝓻𝓶𝓪𝓬𝔂 𝓣𝓻𝓪𝓲𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓟𝓻𝓸𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓶 – 𝓑𝓪𝓽𝓬𝓱 1

The Pharmacy Department successfully conducted Batch 1 of the In-House Clinical Pharmacy Training Program held from July 7–10, 2026.

The four-day training provided an opportunity to strengthen clinical pharmacy knowledge and skills, promote collaboration, and further equip our pharmacists in providing patient-centered pharmaceutical care.

Thank you to everyone who participated and shared their time, knowledge, and expertise throughout the training. Here’s to continuous learning and growing together as pharmacy professionals!

The JBLMGH Pharmacy Department continued its commitment to promoting responsible antibiotic use and proper medication adherence through 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟯 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗔𝗱𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 for OPD geriatric patients.

Through this activity, our elderly patients were given practical guidance on the proper use of antibiotics and the importance of taking their medications correctly and consistently.

Small conversations can make a meaningful difference in patient care. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this activity possible!

The Pharmacy Department successfully concluded Batch 2 of the In-House Training on Toxicology today at the Oncology Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Wellness Building.

Our sincere appreciation to our Medical Center Chief, Dr. Monserrat S. Chichioco, and Chief Health Program Officer of Allied Health Professional Services, Dr. Jose T. Saporne, together with our Chief Pharmacist, Mam Ma. Luisa M. Gopez, our senior pharmacists, Mam Carolina G. Cavinta and Mam Dianne Marie R. Ambat, and Sir Arvin Dimabuyu for their support and for sharing their expertise throughout the training.

This session further strengthened the team’s competence in handling toxic exposures, from identification to proper management, supporting our goal of delivering safe and quality patient care.

Today, the JBLMGH Pharmacy Department marked a significant milestone with the blessing and inauguration of the Main Pharmacy Extension. This expansion is dedicated to strengthening our service to the community and reflects our continued commitment to improving service delivery and ensuring better access to safe and quality medications for our patients.

The Pharmacy Department conducted an Antimicrobial Awareness Lay Fora and Patient Drug Adherence Counseling activity for OPD geriatric patients.

This initiative aimed to promote responsible antibiotic use and strengthen medication adherence among elderly patients, helping ensure safer and more effective treatment outcomes. Through patient-centered education and counseling, we continue to support our geriatric population in managing their medications properly and improving their overall quality of life.
