As part of the continuing disaster response efforts, Team Day 3 conducted a series of visits to several evacuation centers to provide health monitoring, medical consultations, and assistance to residents affected by the flooding.

The team visited the KPEC Evacuation Center in Barangay Lara, the Dela Paz Sur Evacuation Center, and the G4 Dome in Barangay Del Rosario. During these visits, the team conducted health assessments, monitored the condition and well-being of evacuees, addressed health concerns, and provided necessary medications and medical assistance.

As part of the health response for individuals who had been exposed to or had waded through floodwaters, Doxycycline was also distributed in accordance with appropriate health protocols and guidance. This initiative aimed to provide preventive health support to residents who may be at risk of floodwater-related illnesses.

We are deeply grateful to Mayor Vilma B. Caluag for visiting the G4 Dome in Barangay Del Rosario to personally check on the condition and welfare of the evacuees. We also extend our appreciation for the distribution of food and relief assistance provided by the Local Government Unit (LGU), as well as the generous support of private food companies and other partners who helped provide meals and essential assistance to the affected families.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to Dr. Camir Dianne Ayson, MD, for personally conducting medical assessments and checking on the health condition of the evacuees. Her dedication and commitment greatly contributed to ensuring that the affected residents received proper medical attention and care.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our valued partners from Rural Health Unit II (RHU II) and Rural Health Unit V (RHU V) for their continuous support, assistance, and collaboration throughout the disaster response operations. Your teamwork and dedication have been instrumental in reaching and assisting our affected communities.

We likewise thank the barangay officials, healthcare workers, BHWs, BNS, disaster responders, volunteers, and all individuals who continue to extend their time and efforts in serving our evacuees and affected residents.
