Congratulations, City of San Jose del Monte! 🎉

We are proud to share that 13 out of 17 PhilHealth Yakap Centers in the City of San Jose del Monte are now Out-patient Therapeutic Care (OTC) Accredited and ready to provide services for children with Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM).

Our City Health Physicians, Public Health Nurses, Midwives, and Barangay Nutrition Scholars are PIMAM-trained, ensuring quality and effective nutrition services for our city.

As the Operation Timbang Plus (OPT+) has recently concluded, all children aged 0–59 months identified as Severely Acute Malnourished may now be enrolled in their respective Yakap Centers.

Nakikiisa po ang City Health Office - Nutrition Unit, sa pamamagitan ng mga Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), Barangay Health Workers (BHW), at mga pampublikong paaralan, sa pagdiriwang ng National Deworming Month bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagsisikap na mapanatili ang kalusugan at maayos na nutrisyon ng ating mga kabataan.

Ang pamamahagi ng pampurga ay isinasabay ng mga BNS at BHW sa kanilang pag-iikot sa Operation Timbang sa mga barangay. Kung sakaling hindi nabigyan, maaaring dumiretso sa pinakamalapit na barangay health center upang makakuha ng deworming tablet.

Para sa mga Pampublikong Paaralan:
Hinihikayat po ang mga magulang at tagapag-alaga na pirmahan ang consent form na ipinamahagi ng paaralan upang mabigyan ng pampurga (deworming tablet) ang inyong mga anak. Ang inyong pahintulot ay mahalaga upang maisagawa nang maayos ang deworming activity sa paaralan. Alinsunod sa iskedyul na inilabas ng DepEd Tayo City of San Jose del Monte, ang deworming sa mga pampublikong paaralan ay isasagawa mula January 26 hanggang February 6.

Ang deworming ay ligtas, libre, at mabisang paraan upang maiwasan ang sakit, mapabuti ang nutrisyon, at masuportahan ang mas aktibo at mas epektibong pagkatuto ng mga bata.

Isang simpleng hakbang, malaking proteksyon para sa kalusugan ng bata at ng buong komunidad.

Kaya naman, sama-sama po nating suportahan ang National Deworming Month.
