Since Ve-G-Ground Gluten is a ground-style plant-based protein, it works well in dishes normally made with ground meat.
π± Ve-G-Ground Gluten Picadillo
Ingredients:
500g Country Vegefoods Ve-G-Ground Gluten
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 medium onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 medium potatoes, cubed
1 medium carrot, cubed
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup water
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 cup green peas
Salt and pepper to taste
Procedure:
Heat oil in a pan and sautΓ© garlic and onions until fragrant.
Add Ve-G-Ground Gluten and cook for 5β7 minutes.
Add potatoes and carrots. Stir well.
Pour in tomato sauce, water, and soy sauce.
Simmer for 15 minutes until vegetables are tender.
Add green peas and cook for another 3 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot with steamed rice.
Good for 4β5 servings
π± Ve-G-Ground Gluten Meatballs
Ingredients:
500g Ve-G-Ground Gluten
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 small onion, minced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Cooking oil for frying
Procedure:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
Mix thoroughly and form into small balls.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Pan-fry until golden brown.
Serve with sweet and sour sauce or spaghetti sauce.

π± Ve-G-Ground Gluten Spaghetti
Ingredients:
500g Ve-G-Ground Gluten
500g spaghetti noodles
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
500g spaghetti sauce
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Procedure:
Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions.
SautΓ© garlic and onion.
Add Ve-G-Ground Gluten and cook until lightly browned.
Add spaghetti sauce and tomato paste.
Season with sugar, salt, and pepper.
Simmer for 15 minutes.
Pour over cooked spaghetti noodles and serve.
π± Ve-G-Ground Gluten Taco Filling
Ingredients:
500g Ve-G-Ground Gluten
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
1 tbsp soy sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Procedure:
SautΓ© garlic and onion.
Add Ve-G-Ground Gluten.
Add seasonings and cook for 8 minutes.
Serve in taco shells, wraps, or burritos.
π± Ve-G-Ground Gluten Burger Patty
Ingredients:
500g Ve-G-Ground Gluten
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 small onion, minced
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
Procedure:
Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Form into burger patties.
Chill for 20 minutes.
Pan-fry or grill until browned.
Serve in burger buns with lettuce, tomato, and vegan mayo.
