Since Ve-G-Ground Gluten is a ground-style plant-based protein, it works well in dishes normally made with ground meat.

🌱 Ve-G-Ground Gluten Picadillo

Ingredients:
500g Country Vegefoods Ve-G-Ground Gluten
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 medium onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 medium potatoes, cubed
1 medium carrot, cubed
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup water
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 cup green peas
Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:
Heat oil in a pan and sautΓ© garlic and onions until fragrant.
Add Ve-G-Ground Gluten and cook for 5–7 minutes.
Add potatoes and carrots. Stir well.
Pour in tomato sauce, water, and soy sauce.
Simmer for 15 minutes until vegetables are tender.
Add green peas and cook for another 3 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot with steamed rice.

Good for 4–5 servings

Ingredients:
500g Ve-G-Ground Gluten
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 small onion, minced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Cooking oil for frying

Procedure:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
Mix thoroughly and form into small balls.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Pan-fry until golden brown.
Serve with sweet and sour sauce or spaghetti sauce.

500g spaghetti noodles

2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:
Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions.
SautΓ© garlic and onion.
Add Ve-G-Ground Gluten and cook until lightly browned.
Add spaghetti sauce and tomato paste.
Season with sugar, salt, and pepper.
Simmer for 15 minutes.
Pour over cooked spaghetti noodles and serve.

🌱 Ve-G-Gluten Adobo

A classic Filipino favorite made healthier and completely plant-based using Country Vegefoods Ve-G-Gluten.

Ingredients:

500g Country Vegefoods Ve-G-Gluten

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup vinegar

4 cloves garlic, crushed

2 bay leaves

1 tsp whole peppercorns

1 cup water

1 tbsp cooking oil



Procedure:

Heat oil and sautΓ© garlic until fragrant.

Add Ve-G-Gluten and cook for 3–5 minutes.

Add soy sauce, water, bay leaves, and peppercorns.

Simmer for 10 minutes.

Add vinegar and simmer without stirring for 5 minutes.

Mix gently and cook until sauce is reduced.

Serve hot with rice.

Ingredients:
500g Country Vegefoods Ve-G-Gluten, sliced into bite-sized pieces
6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
2 tbsp olive oil or cooking oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp vegan butter or margarine
1 tbsp calamansi juice or lemon juice
1 tsp ground black pepper
Β½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
1 tbsp chopped parsley or spring onions for garnish

Procedure:
Heat oil in a pan and lightly toast the sliced garlic until golden brown.
Remove half of the garlic and set aside for topping.
Add Ve-G-Gluten and sautΓ© for
5–7 minutes until lightly browned.
Add soy sauce, black pepper, and chili flakes. Stir well.
Add vegan butter and calamansi juice.
Toss until evenly coated.
Cook for another 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
Transfer to a serving plate and top with toasted garlic and parsley.

Serving Suggestion-

Ingredients:
500g Country Vegefoods Ve-G-Gluten Tocino
8–10 bamboo skewers (soaked in water)
2 tbsp banana ketchup
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp pineapple juice
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp cooking oil

Procedure:
-Thaw Ve-G-Gluten Tocino if frozen.
-Thread the Ve-G-Gluten Tocino pieces onto bamboo skewers.
-In a bowl, combine banana ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice, garlic powder, black pepper, and cooking oil.
-Brush the mixture generously over the skewered Ve-G-Gluten Tocino.
-Grill over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side, brushing occasionally with the remaining sauce.
-Cook until slightly caramelized and lightly charred.

1 green bell pepper, sliced

2 tbsp pineapple juice
