Nakahugas ka na ba ng sabon at tubig sa loob ng 15 minutes? Good job! That is the best first aid. Pero tandaan: First aid is NOT the cure.

Ang Rabies virus ay hindi nawawala sa sabon lang. Kailangan mo ng medical intervention para siguradong ligtas ka at ang pamilya mo. 🛡️

Bakit dapat dumiretso sa IRAA Medical Clinic?
1️⃣ Expert Assessment: Titignan namin kung Category II or III ang iyong exposure.
2️⃣ Complete Vaccines: Siguradong tama ang dose at schedule ng iyong Anti-Rabies at Anti-Tetanus shots.

"Kinalmot lang naman ng pusa, kailangan pa ba ng bakuna?"
ANG SAGOT AY YES! 🐱💉

Marami ang nag-aakala na a*o lang ang dapat katakutan pagdating sa Rabies.
Pero tandaan: Ang mga pusa (maging pet man o gala) ay maaari ring magdala ng Rabies virus!

Bakit delikado ang kagat o kalmot ng pusa?

Deep Punctures: Ang ngipin ng pusa ay matulis at parang karayom. Dinadala nito ang bacteria at virus sa malalim na bahagi ng iyong balat.

Rabies Risk: Tulad ng a*o, ang pusa ay "warm-blooded mammal" na pwedeng mahawaan at makapanghawa ng Rabies.

Fast Infection: Mas mabilis mamaga at mag-infect ang kagat ng pusa kumpara sa a*o.

Huwag balewalain ang kalmot o "tikas" ng iyong alaga. Hugasan ang sugat at pumunta agad sa IRAA Medical Clinic para sa tamang gamot at bakuna.
