EASTER SUNDAY
(Easter Reflections)

The first light of dawn breaks gently over the earth. The long silence of the tomb is over. What once held death now stands open, empty, and still—yet filled with a quiet, overwhelming truth.

“He is not here; for He has been raised.” (Matthew 28:6)

The stone has been rolled away, not to free Him—but to reveal what has already happened. The place of burial has become the place of proclamation. The silence of death has given way to the whisper of resurrection.

Jesus is alive.

The One who was crucified now lives. The One who was laid in the tomb has risen in glory. The wounds remain—but they are no longer signs of defeat. They are marks of victory.

This is the heart of Easter.

What seemed like the end has become a beginning. The sorrow of Good Friday has been transformed into the joy of new life. Darkness has not overcome the light. Death has not had the final word.

And this is not only His story—it is yours.

Because He lives, your life is no longer trapped in the past. Because He lives, your sins do not define you. Because He lives, every broken place in your life holds the promise of renewal.

Easter invites you to step out of your own tomb.

To leave behind fear, sin, and despair.
To rise into grace, forgiveness, and hope.
To walk in the light of a life made new.

Do not stay where death once was.

The stone has been moved.
The way is open.
The light has come.

He is risen.
He is truly risen.
Alleluia.

HE DESCENDED TO THE DEAD
(Black Saturday)

Everything is silent. Jesus lies in the tomb - His body wrapped, the stone sealed, the world waiting. And yet, this silence is not empty. While His body rests, His soul descends.

“He descended into hell.” (Apostles’ Creed)

He enters the realm of the dead - not as a victim, but as Savior. Into that hidden darkness, He brings light. Those who waited in hope - Adam, Abraham, the prophets - now encounter the One they longed for. The silence is broken. The doors are opened. Redemption reaches even there.

This is the mystery of Black Saturday: even in death, He is at work. Even in silence, He is saving.

And this is also for you. There is no darkness in your life He cannot enter, no silence He cannot fill, no place beyond His reach.

Even there - He comes.
